Near is not inside
An evacuation order is a legal boundary. Being seven kilometres from one means nothing. ClearWatch tests whether your specific address falls inside the published polygon, and says so plainly. And not only fire: flood and landslide evacuation boundaries are watched the same way.
Checked every 15 minutes
Every property, re-checked against the official record every quarter hour, all season. The daily note tells you it looked, even when there's nothing to report.
The right people hear
Up to four people per account. A parent, a sibling, a tenant, the neighbour with the key. Each confirms for themselves before anything is sent to them.
What it can't see
Better you hear this from us now than discover it later.
- Structure and vehicle fires attended by a municipal department. This covers wildfires and official evacuation zones.
- Satellites pass over BC four to six times a day. Heat detection isn't continuous and can be hours old, so we always show you when it last looked.
- Official perimeters update when BC Wildfire Service maps them, which can lag the live edge of a fire.
